Thread Name: Lyr Req: The Bold Pirate (Dick Snell? / Bodleian)
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Dick Snell's The Bold Pirate
The penultimate verse of the Bodleian Broadside uses "foret" or "for it"
eg. "it's foret you fought so bold" meaning "you fought for the gold"

This makes much more sense than the word "forward".
