When I was a young folky at sixteen or seventeen I also had trouble finding people my age that were moved the same way I was. I would drag them over to the house and play what I thought was the greatest music in the world and get indifferent responses. Eventually you do meet like minded folks. At least I hope you do. I'm pushing 50 these days and would just say, be true to what you like.
