I'm going to the Lakes for a weekend (20-22 Aug) and would be very grateful for any information on folk sessions during this period (preferably near Pooley Bridge). Failing sessions, please recommend the most characterful pubs with ale sutable for reviving Aged Parent afer strenuous mountain galivanting.
