Well, darn it all, anyhow! I think this song has a nice touch of whimsy, and it's fun to sing. I sing for kids a lot, and this is one song that works very well for them. Maybe it gets sung a bit too often, but I still like it. I usually don't sing it unless somebody requests it, though, because I like introduce kids to other good stuff that isn't quite so familiar.
