Well, gol danged! Like stop the presses! What, the press admitting it messed up on their pre-invasion focus and reporting? Can this be?

Well, today's Washington Post has a well hidden Page A-1 story entitled "Stories Pushed Aside in the Mrach to War" (Washington Post, August 12) which continues to their ususual A-20 retraction page.

Yup, managing editor Bob Woodward is quoted as saying "we should have warned readers we had information that the basis for this (the war) was shakier".

Yeah, Mr. Woodward, if you feel so danged guilty and want to make ammends, why bury yer confession so cleverly on the front page? Kobe Bryant's headlines were bolder. Anti-Kerry ads article even bolder. Like what gives? Oh yeah, you, the NY Times and the LA Times, which purdy much set the course for the rest of major print media, had yer heads so far up Bush's butt that you couldn't bring yerselves to tell the thruth.

So much for democracy when we have the major press hopelessly eaten up with "office-speak" propaganda...

Maybe someone who is into to blue clicky stuff will find this article for others to enjoy, fir a lack of a better word...
