Odd isn't it, how vociferous the condemnation of 'Fahrenheit 9/11" was by the mainstream media, especially for Moore's criticism of the media (which was, disappointingly, one of the tamest, tepid aspects of the film) for the very thing the NY Times & Washington Post both now admit they did wrong--ie act complicitly to support the government's case for war, when the evidence they had was to the contrary.
Here is a quote from weasel Bob his dick ass self in today's paper:
""We did our job but we didn't do enough, and I blame myself mightily for not pushing harder," Woodward said in an interview. "We should have warned readers we had information that the basis for this was shakier" than widely believed. "Those are exactly the kind of statements that should be published on the front page."
I think Woodward didn't want the Pincus view to conflict with the view he was trying to put across in his pompous, ass kissing books about the Bush White House, meself.
