You're gonna kick yourself if you have that surgery and 4 weeks later are singing like Jenny Lind! (And you're probably gonna want to sue the surgeon to get your nuts back.)

Beardedbruce, I'm not sure the first night is good for that. Singing usually happens in the TV room, and lots of people are somewhat 'scattered', catching up with folks, and unwinding. (I'm manic for the first couple of hours after I get out of the car.) Plus, I might get there late and all the ginger, PB cups, tiramasu and cheese cake will be gone!
