Thread Name: Tune request ; Mother Song
Subject: RE: Tune request ; Mother Song
Hi, Joe! I heard this song at a singing circle. One of the members brought it in.I have no hint to the writer other than it is not a new song, probably from the sixties or seventies as it was o vinyl. The lyrics are as follows;

Wander wild and homeless, All roads lead to you,
Riding wind and laughing, at the moon.
Fear and longing gone now, Day and night the same,
Knowing that the Mother knows, my name.
Needing nothing of my own, Joy is one with pain,
Drifting free, my life, her love, sustains.
Care not who or what I am, In her arms the wine,
Face the babe before it knows to smile.
Wander wlid and homeless, All roads lead to you,
Riding wind and laughing, at the moon.
(aaah-oooooo)(my wolf impression)

The end. The tune was quite meditative and lent itself to wonderful harmonies.
