Anyone out there ever been barred from a pub for parking in its car park?

Firstly, I write to let everyone know that next Tuesday's club will be held at The Swan in Parsons Drove(on the corner opposite the shop). There will be further details available from about the upcoming folk festival (concert on Frdiay night, dancing in the town onSaturday and fabulous Sunday afternoonat Elgood's Brewery). Everyone is welcome - singers and audience, since this the people from this club are the most welcoming & encouraging that I've found in Cambridgeshire.

I'm particularly pleased about the move as the beer never tasted quite as it should to my palate in all my trips out there from Cambridge, I found the landlord to be the least welcoming 'mine host' I've ever experienced, and he ruined what was set to be a fabulous last night at The Angel by banning one of the singers for parking in the car park - he told me he considered him to be 'arrogant'in finishing his song before happily moving his car (for a second time) to allow another customer out(the car park only holds about six cars, anyway so we're used to shifting around!). WE were all so stunned, amazed & affronted that we immediately upped gear and offed en masse, leaving him with a suddenly empty bar - power to the people! Ah well - what goes around comes around, as they say, and I'm fairly sure his attitude will rebound on him to his own detriment but also that of the pub's future (which might upset the brewery, a local company that values its customers in most hostelries in the area). I'm looking forward to The Swan next Tuesday - come all ye!
