I don't think starting ANOTHER thread on this is part of the solution. There is a phase in MudMesses where people get to the point of feeling, "I can fix this XXXXXXXX." Then everyone gets that feeling at the same time and we have more threads on the mess than we do on real life. The derivative threads are, IMO, a bigger problem than the messes they try to hunmorously defuse.

The cure? MUSIC.
