I've just seen on the news that the popcorn has started blowing eastwards. Thinking it was snow, livestock all over the place have frozen to death, cars and trucks won't start or are skidding off the road, and various states are screaming for road salt. Governors in Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia have declared snow emergencies and activated what's left of their National Guards.
