Well, it's said the Lord looks after fools and kids so I guess I got double coverage. Here's the real story...

About two weeks ago a tenor/resonator was put on ebay and I watched it and watched it and on the last night before the bidding came to an end (2:00 am my time) I put in a bid that I thought would certainly be enough to buy it... I guess I should say that I need it. I love playing tenor guitars but the folks I jam with all have resonators and a tenor ain't got a lot of umph to it to begin with...

Anyway, I lost the bid by a couple of bucks!!! Sniff...

...but I eamiled the guy with the winning bid and after a weks worth od wrangling and negotiating I am going to give him my '35 Gibson tenor in exchange for the reso tenor...

Life is good. He's happy and I'm happy and when things happen like this, I know the Big Guy has a smile on His face...
