That's basically my take on the song too, LH, but I find it prosaic and lacking imagery and aesthetic distance compared to most of his other work. And it's a tune he doesn't sing well. And the tone is limp, maybe very sincere, but dull. Not that he shouldn't "say" it, I just don't think it's very good.
