And how long have I waited, for my muse
To offer me the words to share my heart?
What words might I send, that she not refuse
To send me further whispers that dreams start?
How shall I tell her that the thought of smile
Gives me reason to write? I need to know
My words will bring some thought. I do not file
Writings away, to gather dust, but show
My feelings to the world. I can but pray
That someone shares my dreams. To know you read
Without disdain gives me the hope to say
My inner hopes: I feel you feel my need.
I cannot ask you to be all I dream:
Yet as you are, you more than magic seem.
