I just ran across this thread, and, all I can say is: I hear you my friend. We had nearly the same experience a few years ago. K wound up on the street selling herself, and the last I knew she was in a double lock facility somewhere in the mid west. You are dead right about not having her and a 17 year old boy. That was part of K's problem. It's a heart breaker all right.
