Very interesting. :) I have the Seti@home screen saver, and I'm glad to be a part of that project in my own small way. First contact has been a lifetime dream of mine, and however it happens, it would be a wondrous event. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

(The science-fiction author, the late Charles Sheffield wrote a fascinating series of novels about alien artifacts in space, known as the heritage series. I loved those books.)
