I *like* the retort "Eat Soap!" So much more genteel than "Eat Shit" or even "Bite Me!" Never encountered it before; I like it, and I'll use it.

No suspense here about anyone's reaction to the girls. Of course they appear, very clearly, to be dumb as posts to all who perceive their daddy as a nitwit puppet in the hands of corporate interests (e.g., myself). To those more sympathetic to the neoconservative cause, of course, they're nice attractive young ladies, perhaps a bit unaccustomed to the limelight.

The *only* message that caught me by surprise was the one scolding the twins and/or their handlers for allowing one of them to appear wearing blue jeans. Pretty severe standards, there!

I only watched an hour or two of the Democratic convention, the one with which I am in greater agreement. Haven't watched a minute of the GOP shindig at all, at least not yet.

If I do, it won't be on Fox.
