That wonderful musical collective Silver Spear will be taking Durty Nellie's in Hull9 by storm this coming Friday, 10th September 2004

Negotiations with band members are still continuing, and the manager will be announcing the team on Thursday, but names already confirmed are Bloke in the Corner doing vocally things, augmented with guitars, harmonicas, bazookas, mandelas and that elephant's foreskin drum thing; the gorgeous NikNak on fiddly, flauty whistley things and myself, on illuminated chest-mounted Wurlitzer, containing several micro musicians and drum kit, and a guitar or a banjo if I can be arsed.

Eric the Viking will be providing the same excellent quality sound that he mastered on our last outing, and will no doubt be striking a chord or two in anger during the noisy bits.

Festivities start at 9pm, and it would be lovely to see you if you're doing nowt else.
