Okeechobee should have been relatively fine. The Lake, itself is highly protected and anything short of a Cat. 4 hurricane wouldn't cause it to break through it's dikes. The dikes are huge and tall - 20 in places.

Ivan is still too early to call, but it's currently on track to hit the Everglades, South Miami.
