Also see the documentary film on The Digger's stand (and Gerard Winstanley) in 1649 at St George's Hill, that's available on video - can't recall the Director at present ...
Some years ago, a group tried (unsuccessfully ) to erect a placque to commemmorate The Diggers' stand, in this now very well-to-do area.
