I'm thinking seriously about starting up my own internet radio station to broadcast mainly (but not exclusively) English music as a recorded programme on the internet - including interesting music from the Celtic world and the European scene as well as anything else that takes my fancy, basically what I think the Mike Harding show *should* be!

The programme would also have a slant towards the humour which my peers on the folk scene currently enjoy - slightly irreverant, but committed to the traditions.

I've googled around and found quite a few sites which give a brief overview of the internet radio scene and plenty of adverts for services on top of that. But I need information on the legal stuff and technical advice from genuine people who have also done this themselves.

Does anyone out there have any advice on how I might go about things? Any links to websites with sensible, matter-of-fact information would be gratefully welcomed.
