for the healthy eaters who want a better alternative to Cool-whip...try Creme Fraiche or better yet..Marscapone cheese. These both have the thick, creamy texture of Cool-Whip and don't have the petrochemicals. I often use Marscapone added to various trifle recipes in place of Artificial whipped cream or just the whipping cream. It lends a more substantial creaminess to the final product.
As for the Non-Dairy Creamer....Half & Half with a little Frangelico or other Liquoer such as Chambord. And if no American pudding can be found..just use Bird's custard.
