This brings up again the problem I have mentioned several times about the endless plasticity of thought -- that it can drum up any perception called for, if it is so inclined. For example, it is possible in looking at the "energy field" to see and interpret mental image pictures embedded around a person's body and tell them -- sometimes to their great surprise -- about some trauma or other they are holding on to. Not the best approach of therapy for two reasons.

First, they don't need to be told what they are actually holding on -- what they need is to discover it for themselves.

Secondly, it is perfectly easy to drum up a false picture of what they are holding on to, and tell them about that, much to the detriment of the subject who has now been handed a false past to deal with in addition to his actual experiential sequence.
