A big vote of thanks to Ron Olesko and the internet for bringing Lorcan/Larry/Lor/InOBU right here to my desktop for an hour or so on Sunday evening (as it was in GMT-land). Strictly speaking, I was due elsewhere after the first 20 minutes, but Larry's thoughts, lyrics and singing were so absorbing that I let my other plans slide. It must take a special kind of nerve to sing, both unacompanied and to your own guitar, and - for chrissake - play uillean pipes live to air. But Larry carried it off splendidly. Oh, and he threw in a nice tune on tin whistle.

A pity I couldn't stay on for the Kossoy Sisters, but I was in enough trouble as it was. Anyway, having discovered WFDU, I'll be back for more. As I said earlier, I heard some great acoustic blues on Saturday, while testing out the link ready for Larry's spot.
