Thread Name: Lyr Req: Little Drummer Boy (you're all the world)
Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Little Dummer Boy
Does anyone know the lyrics of yet ANOTHER "Little Drummer Boy" --a song which I am guessing originates from "between the wars" around the early thirties. Some of the lyrics are as follows-- "Little Drummer boy, you're all the world to me,
Dressed up in your little soldier's clothes;
Little drummer boy, climb on your Daddy's knee,
Rest your weary head in sweet repose.
Reveille will sound in the morning, "lights out" has sounded long ago,"
---and at that point I lose the memory! I wonder if there's another old codger around with some memory of the song?
