Fabo Cucagno, (pronounced Fay-bo Ku-can-yo)has died.
There was no obituary, no viewing, no funeral and his body was cremated. He touched too many lives to let his death go unnoticed.

Fabo was a graduate of Arnold High School in the early 1940s. He was a talented high school musician and an excellent student. He graduated from Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon University), earning a degree in music and playing first violin in the Carnegie Tech Symphony Orchestra.

Nobody could tell a story like Fabo. He was poetry in motion when he related tales.
His stories were always sprinkled with melodious Italian expressions that made his stories even more interesting. He was very fluent in Italian and often used it to get across a point he was trying to make.

His wife, after having been in remission from cancer for several years, was once again stricken. Her death devastated him and this exuberant extrovert became a recluse; the beaten, disenchanted and disillusioned 81-year-old man no longer had anything to live for. His desire to live was gone.
