Eudora come in three flavour, free, sponsored, and paid. It does not interfere in any way with anything, as far as I can tell. Have used it for years - even the older versions still work well, but the newer ones allow even more safeguards for incoming evils. I use it with Mailwasher, which is an external viewer/filter/bouncer/shielder/deleter utility.
