Starting this for a new seeker, Cricket in Texas, who is trying to help a friend who lost all of his music books to a flood last year.

Here's part of what s/he had to say in the original thread, help for chords, Right now, I am hoping that I can get some chords (easy ones, now... although I am better with a git-fiddle than I am with a computer) for John Prine, Hoyt Axton's "Sweet Misery," and whatever else anyone out there has that is free. I found the Sing Out site terrific. What a resource! Again, many thanks for your help.
