The only disagreement I have with all of that is this:

"He was just badly brought up, with no discipline, and no compassion,"... .

I find this a little hard to believe, because, as much as I disagreed with Bush Sr.'s policies, he was positively cultured compared to his son. So, in all fairness, I don't think G.H.W. Bush should take the blame.

I could be wrong, though.
