This is the promotors problem. Heck, I've been both the promotor and the performer and occasioanlly both at the same time but, really, the promotor shoul;d be the one to do the heavy lifting. If the promotor won't then, hey, a little humor should take care of the problem...

...Example: (between songs) "Hey, I love youngin's as much as the next guy but any of 'um crawling 'round the stage tryin' to see which cords can electricute them will be confiscated and sold off as slaves."
