I went to buy gas last evening (in Orlando) for my boss's car and had to go to 6 gas stations before I found one with gas. Florida gets its gas from refineries in the Carribean and the spate of hurricanes have messed up the shipping so much that there are shortages everywhere.

I'm not complaining, mind you, but the gas issue is a good example of just how disruptive the hurricanes have been for the whole region.
