Subject: RE: SEEKING Guest,.Gargoyle - re: Bawdy songs
I have to admit that I'm a little bit shy about bawdy songs, and I don't usually sing them myself. Maybe it's not that I'm shy - they just don't seem to fit my image of myself. Does that make sense?

Nonetheless, I find bawdy songs to be very interesting. I especially enjoy it when Dick Greenhaus gets on a bawdy songs kick. I can listen to him singing those songs all night and not get tired. He has bazillions of 'em in his head.

Gargoyle has also been a major contributor of bawdy lyrics here. Are there any other Mudcatters with expertise in bawdy songs, people I should notify when we have a bawdy-song question that doesn't get answered? We have a whole stable of occasional Mudcatters who know old-time or classic country songs, and I e-mail them when we get stuck. How about bawdy songs?
