On the subject of aluminium: The story used to be (in the long gone by) that it was aluminium pots and pans that were the cause of the intake. Those days there was no anti-perspirants, well, not for most of our lot, anyway. Maybe for rich folks.
As far as I can remember, it is anti-perspirant that contains aluminium, not deodorant. Of course most products combine both, but not all do.
And then there is the Teflon coating on the frypan......
