Numerous submissions to this and previous threads on this subject have been the lovely Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Asissi, along with various variations thereupon. ("Lord, grant me the serenity to... etc.")

I would like to submit for your consideration the Digger Prayer of Hugh Romney (aka Wavy Gravy):

"May the Baby Jesus
Open Your Mind
and Shut Your Mouth."

No offense -- I'm not addressing ANY ONE of you personally! ;^)
Indeed, one properly says this prayer as much for oneself as for others.
