Subject: RE: Recorded Welsh Music/Crywth Players
I don't think I'd be calling Firebrand Welsh music - when I've heard them, they do music from all over the place. Their repertoire does include the odd Welsh tune though (but and not with a Crywth). I think they are well worth a listen though, IMO particularly for the contribution of Miranda Sykes (double bass and vocals) but the whole band is good.

On of these days I will get round to checking Crasdant out - I've been meaning to for years. I'm not sure if I have heard them or not! Some years back, I remember Andy Mac bringing a new band he was involved with into a lunchtime session during one of the Bangor festivals but I'm not sure if it was or wasn't Crasdant - I wouldn't know the others.
