A bit more about the adventures of this song. Hildebrand just remembered that in 1972 (when he was in Sweden) "Singout" asked about the words to "The Great Chicago Pot Bust". There was also a query about Hildebrand's whereabouts. He learned about the article but never got around to doing anything about it. At the time even his mother only got the occaisonal letter.
Later someone touring in Australia in about 1980 spread the song around a bit here. Joy
