Here's a link to one of my heroes (and I don't have many), the creator of the Bash Street Kids, Minnie the Minx, Little Plum, the Three Bears and lots of characters who were a bit after my time. Yes DC Thompson were (are?) very non-union, and also gave no credit to their writers/artists. Leo Baxendale was the first of their artists to write the stories as well, and drew lots of amazing detail in the drawings.
