Last Wednesday!

But not a happy one. Last night another shoe dropped. The owner of the old house called to ask me to pay for the damages. I refused so he is now suing me. I can expect to be served soon.

Sigh. I keep thinking about Typhoon Chaba and putting up the typhoon shutters in the wind and rain and yelling challenges into the storm. What a foolish think to do. At the time all I knew was that the house had been burglarized and burned followed by a typhoon. I thought I was in as deep as I could go.

This is tearing up any happiness I could find in retiring.
