why oh why does everybody feel the need to focus extra time on Kate Rusby? I'm not knocking her, I happen to think she's very good, I enjoy her music, she has a stunning voice... but.... on the strength of some very sensible efforts put into marketing on her part, plus a good dose of being in the right place at the right time, she _is_ very well known and already has far more than her share of media coverage. The BBC4 tv Sidmouth special had a lot of her, Mike Harding plays a lot of her, all the message boards on the net are full of people singing her praises...
I'm sure it's too late for you to reconsider her as your 'spotlight artist' Chris, even if you wanted to, so I'm not even going to suggest that, I guess I'm just making a general moan for 'please can we have a bit more variety...'
