It's an active monitor, can be driven from a sub mixer for your own or someone else's individual instrument or mic, or can come from auxilliary outputs on the desk or even (possibly) headphone socket or external speaker socket on an amp.Because it can be mic stand mounted, you can position it where ever you want if you wish, above, below, in front, left ear, right ear, even behind, which ever works best. If that's any good to any one as a cheaper, efficiient solution, you are most welcome.
