LMAO, Art!

In some sort of cosmic synergy, while I was posting how our brains are like computers, we lost power and I lost the whole posting. Now, I have to do it FROM MEMORY! Aaarrggghhhh!!

I am center-aged at 46. I make a dialy list to help me remember important things that needs to be done or taken care of. I've always done this. I think as we get older, we juts have so much more in our brains to remember. Our brains are like computers, they take in everything we see, hear, say and read, without discrimination; they take it all literally. So, sometimes we, may have memory overload and a little downtime while the system reboots.

My dad at 82, remembers tons of songs, literally hundreds if not thousands. He cna quote conversations verbatim he had with his dad as a kid and reams of the classics, poetry and prose. He always keeps up on the latestnews and politics, so keeps his mind agile. I think hehas learned to somehow filter what is important to him to remember, somehow leaving the rest by the door as Peter wishes to do. Maybe that is a secret only revealed wihtmore age?*g*

Scientists just discoverd that the brain can regenerate itself, create new cells, so we may all be able to "create" our own new motherboards, someday, if we can remember how!
