Neil. I know just what you mean when you forget what you've gone into another room or the refrigerator for. It happens to me, and my partner, as well. I'm 55 and she's 50... I also can't remember words to songs when I try to think ahead as I'm singing, but somehow I seem to get the right words when I reach that critical moment.

Often I'll be searching for a part?? special?? moder/? must??? Oh.. a specific word to describe something, and it just eludes me. We now laughingly refer to those times as 'senior moments.' "I just had a senior moment".. Reassuring to realize that we're not alone, judging from the number of similar experiences.
