I heard this song a couple of years ago and I keep hearing snippets inside my head "he loved her so dearly to lose her so early"

It was sung by a lady with a wonderful voice who also sang a song about "taking the monn from the man" If possible I'd like the words for that as well. Hope you are all fit and well out there.
