1) The name I use is not the one I was born with (sense a pattern here?)
2) My mothers brother was offered the role of The Virginian in 'The Virginian' but turned it down (how dumb was that?)
3) I once sang a duet at the Sunderland Empire with Frankie Vaughan
4) I have a scar on my middle finger of my left hand from trying to hacksaw off the top of a cider bottle (desperate times)
5) I have three brothers, who were all submariners and, when the UK only had four submarines, I had a brother on three of them
6) I like to sail on square riggers
7) I once made a citizens arrest in town because a man was hurting a dog
8) The highlight of my career was working with Jim Casey (Jimmy James' son) and Eli Woods and re-creating 'The Animals in the Box' routine with Mike Craig (writer for Morecambe & Wise) playing the stooge
9) I am and anticipate that I always will be terrified of spiders
10) I am superstitious about passing on stairs
