A little clarification on the web-site issue.

Cheney did not in fact send people to the Soros anti-Bush site. Per the Washington Post, he sent them to a Web site which refers people to sellers of dictionaries and encyclopedias (and also owns such domain names as Lipbalm.com and Antarctica. com.)

According to a lawyer for the company that owns that site, the site was almost immediately overwhelmed---48,000 hits an hour, then 100 hits a second. So the company (Name Administration Inc.), "to avoid crashing and to exact revenge on Cheney for causing it such grief, decided to forward traffic to GeorgeSoros.com".

Poor Cheney.   Couldn't happen to a nicer reactionary.
