As far as I remember, it's a modern song written for competition some years ago. Historical and geographical consistency were probably not written into the rules!

McMurrough is basically correct. "Shelmalier" is the other doubtful one.

I suspect the final word is "found". "did ban" in the second last verse doesn't seem ot make sense - but may well be what is sung.
