How shall I send you season's wish, to hold
Muse in warm arms, and look in eyes to see
Bright stars? Thought of you gives heart hope, that we
Might one day share a dream: Is hope too bold?
I offer all I seek: Have my words told
How much your friendship means? You are a rose
I cherish, for beauty, and hope that grows
From dream to longing I might dream enfold.
How shall I reach out towards desire, to find
My dreams within your smile? Can I seek light
With closed eyes, or hope that hopes will bind
A muse too far to touch, or to hold tight?
I seek, and offer, dreams, to share in mind:
What can I give to give a future bright?
