The Red Sox have yet to honestly exercise the curse. Until then, no amount of trying will bring them a Series.

I was just disappointed that my Angels lost to the Rex Sox, even though I knew they would. There's no poetry in the Sox losing to a team with little shared history. I think it is unlikely that the Sox will make it into the Series this year simply because the perfect poetic ending ot the year would be the Yankees ending their dreams.

Not that I'm a Yankees' fan - ther are two teams I root for: The Angels and whomever is playing the Yankees.

Salary caps will be the only way baseball will change.
