I think it's kind of cool that this thread has now attracted some really quite good poetry. Amos's contribution is, as usual, excellent. Rapaire's borrowed poem about the cat is also excellent. I have know cats who, once they liked you, would sit on you and drool.
TTR - Sir, you are quite correct in your supposition. Embodied life is a hard and perilous journey at times. I find your poetry hard to understand, but I get a glimmer or two from it.
