Yes you can do whelks in pressure cookers. First slice your whelks very thinly and place in the cooker with just enough water to cover. Add root vegetables of your choice, one crushed garlic clove, two bay leaves, a chicken stock cube and seasoning. Place the lid firmly on the vessel and cook for 3 hours. Decant the contents into a large dish or bowl.















Throw away the contents of the dish and EAT THE PRESSURE COOKER!
